Genita Anderson currently serves as the New Members Ministry Leader, Baptism Ministry Leader, and Design Team contributor. She has served on various other ministry teams, including the Women’s ministry. Genita has been a member of NEBC for over five years.

Genita is a native of Chicago, Illinois, she has been a resident of the Dallas area for nearly 30 years. She has shared 29 years of her life with her dear husband Harry Anderson. She is blessed with two wonderful sons, Chris, age 21, and Alex, age 17. Her signature quote and philosophy in life is “ "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path."  Proverbs 3:5-6

NEBC’s goal for new members to create an environment whereby new members feel connected to the NEBC family, become fully integrated into the life body of the church, and have the knowledge needed to access all available church resources.

NEBC believes that Jesus Christ was the divine sacrificial Lamb that took away the sins of the world, that he arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, as a final assurance that His redeeming work was perfectly accomplished. Baptism is the external testimony of the believer’s internal trust in, and commitment to walk with, The Lord Jesus Christ. Any person, at any age, who understands, has accepted, and trusts these claims may be baptized.
