The purpose of Adult Growth Groups at NEBC is  “to enhance our lives by strengthening our relationship with God and others.”

 WHAT IS A GROWTH GROUP?

Growth Groups are groups of 8-15 people that meet weekly in order to develop meaningful relationships, grow spiritually (through study and service) and have fun together.

Growth Groups are separated into three distinct 2 month long semesters (Spring, Summer and Fall) that create clear and easy entry and exit points for the groups – much like an academic calendar.  Each group lasts only 8 weeks. At the end of that time, an individual can choose to sign up again with the same group for the next semester or join other groups.

Each Growth Group semester is preceded by a Growth Group Promotion Month in which people sign up for the group of their choice on Sundays through the Growth Group Catalogue at any time through the web site.

An important aspect of Growth Groups is that they are easy to enter and easy to exit. Growth Groups can be signed up for on-line or at one of the weekend services without any hassle or without having to attend a special event.  And because Growth Groups last only 8 weeks, it is easy to get out of a group when it ends naturally.
