There's a common thread that's woven throughout the fabric of human experience. At the core of the consciousness of every man, woman, boy and girl lay both a sense of greatness and a void, a hunger that there is more to life. We often try to fill this void through our achievements, relationships and sometimes even through illicit and unhealthy endeavors.
It doesn't take us long to realize that these pursuits do nothing to take away the emptiness from our lives. This is because the void we feel was purposefully created by and for our Creator. In other words, God has placed in us - as part of our design - a special place for himself that only he could adequately fill.
