"What I love about my church is that there is comfort there.  I always look forward to just being there.  When I don't get to attend, I feel like I have missed a feeding that gets me prepared to face the rest of the week, and possibly be able to feed a little bit of it to someone else.  It is like a checkpoint for me , where I can be refueled , lifted and strengthened by his holy presence.  I feel like I have had a complete overhaul and a shield has been placed around me.  I am ready to face whatever comes my way this week.  The unity of our members can be felt when you are there and you are always greeted with a hug and a beautiful smile.  My church has a good "down-home" feeling to it where people can say "I am glad I came."  Before I joined NEBC, I was a frequent visitor, participated in the bible study classes and other events.  It finally dawned on me that God had already planned for me to be here.  Our Pastor is wonderful and shows that he cares for his congregation and is dedicated to getting the word out to us by making it perfectly clear for all to understand.  Being among our members gives you a feeling of being home.  No one is missed or left out.  There is a Presence here that I can feel and truly happy to say "I am so glad I came!!" ~ Patricia
